Calderstones School is an English comprehensive school located opposite Calderstones Park on Harthill Road in the Liverpool suburb of Allerton. The school was founded in 1921 as Quarry Bank High School for Boys and its first intake of 225 pupils was on 11 January 1922.
6 juil. 2024 · Calderstones has an admission number of 265 students in Year 7 each year. For the past decade-plus, the school has been heavily over-subscribed on entry to Year 7 and there is always a significant waiting list of students wishing to join us.

Catholic High School in Columbus, Ohio. A private, college preparatory high school, grades 9-12, of the Columbus Diocese.
Now known as the Calderstones School, this location was known as the Quarry Bank High School in the mid-50's when John Lennon went to high school here. He had a skiffle band (a type of music popular in the UK at the time) named the Quarrymen after the high school.
