We are a Jesuit University, rooted in one of the world’s oldest intellectual and spiritual traditions, with more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students from the U.S. and across the globe enrolled in the University’s five schools.
Fairfield University is a private Jesuit university in Fairfield, Connecticut. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1942. In 2023, the university had about 5,000 full-time undergraduate students and 1,200 graduate students, including full-time and part-time students.
The Office of Undergraduate Admission offers a variety of in-person and virtual visit opportunities for prospective students and their families to determine if Fairfield is the school for them. Our in-person visits are the best way to get a feel for campus life and learn more about our schools.
