Alfred Lennon (14 December 1912 – 1 April 1976), also known as Freddie Lennon, was an English seaman and singer who was best known as the father of musician John Lennon. Alfred spent many years in an orphanage with his sister, Edith, after his father died.

Alfred Lennon part sans lui et sans accorder le divorce à Julia. Plus tard, quand il découvre que son fils est célèbre, et surtout riche, il se présente, le 1er avril 1964, aux bureaux de Nems à Londres, pour le voir. John Lennon ne lui consacre que 20 minutes avant de le congédier.
Julia Lennon (née Julia Stanley le 12 mars 1914 à Liverpool en Angleterre, et décédée le 15 juillet 1958 dans cette même ville) est la mère du musicien et chanteur John Lennon, fondateur des Beatles. Celui-ci est son premier enfant et le seul issu de son mariage avec Alfred Lennon.
