  2. Clarence Anicholas Clemons Jr. (January 11, 1942 – June 18, 2011), also known as The Big Man, was an American saxophonist. From 1972 until his death in 2011, he was the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. Clemons released several solo albums.

  4. The album was produced by Kevin McCormick and Lofgren, and recorded at Ocean Way Studios, in Los Angeles. Lofgren chose to add elements of soul and blues to his rock sound. "Valentine", featuring harmony vocals by Bruce Springsteen, was the album's first single. Clarence Clemons also contributed to Silver Lining on "Little Bit O' Time".
