The Shirelles were an American girl group formed in Passaic, New Jersey in 1957. They consisted of schoolmates Shirley Owens (later Shirley Alston Reeves), Doris Coley (later Doris Kenner-Jackson), Addie "Micki" Harris (later Addie Harris McFadden), and Beverly Lee.
Beverly Lee is a singer and a member of the rock and roll group The Shirelles. She was born in 1941 in New Jersey and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

Beverly Lee was one of the original four members of the Shirelles, the first major female vocal group of the rock era. She sang lead on hits like "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" and "Soldier Boy" before leaving the group in 1964.
