"Free as a Bird" is a song originally composed and recorded in 1977 as a home demo by John Lennon. In 1995 a studio version of the recording, incorporating contributions from Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, was released as a single by the Beatles, 25 years after their break-up.
Free as a Bird est l'ébauche d'une chanson, composée et enregistrée par John Lennon en 1976 et finalisée par les Beatles. Parue en single le 4 décembre 1995 et en ouverture de la compilation Anthology 1, elle fait partie de la promotion du documentaire télévisé The Beatles Anthology qui comprend aussi une seconde « nouvelle » chanson, Real Love.
