In May 2012, The Dean Trust was formed comprising Ashton on Mersey School, Broadoak School and Forest Gate Academy. Within 7 years, the Trust expanded to comprise 10 schools located across the Manchester, Trafford, Knowsley and Wigan areas, serving some of the most socio-economically deprived communities in the UK.
