Angela Tomasa Bofill (May 2, 1954 – June 13, 2024) was an American singer-songwriter of Cuban-Puerto Rican origins. A New York native, she began her professional career in the mid-1970s [2] and is most known for singles such as " This Time I'll Be Sweeter ", "Angel of the Night", and "I Try".
