Joel Rundell (September 26, 1965 – August 8, 1990) was an American musician best known as one of the four original members and lead guitarist of the Louisiana-based alternative rock band Better Than Ezra. [1]
Joel Rundell, the band's lead guitarist, died by suicide on August 8, 1990. [4] The remaining three members of the band took some time off to reassess its future following Rundell's death. [ 4 ] However, Griffin, Drummond and Bonnecaze reunited Better Than Ezra as a trio by the end of 1990. [ 4 ]
