It'll End in Tears is the first album released by 4AD collective This Mortal Coil, an umbrella title for a loose grouping of guest musicians and vocalists brought together by label boss Ivo Watts-Russell. The album was released on 8 October 1984, and reached #38 on the UK Albums Chart.

This Mortal Coil est un collectif britannique. 1 oct. 2014 · This Mortal Coil would go on to release 2 more albums Filigree and Shadow, and Blood, with only Fryer and Ivo as constant members. The pair would then would release 2 more records under the guise of The Hope Blister, which was ultimately the swan song for classic era 4AD.
