The University of New Mexico School of Law (UNM Law or New Mexico Law) is the law school of the University of New Mexico, a public research university in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Founded in 1947, it is the only law school in the state.
University of New Mexico is ranked No. 94 (tie) out of 196 in Best Law Schools. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.
The School of Law is the state's only law school and is located on the University of New Mexico's North Campus. It is surrounded by a 9-hole golf course and is next door to the New Mexico Court of Appeals, which has a special viewing room designated specifically for our students.
