24 janv. 2012 · By which I mainly mean 'Platinum, 'QE2' and 'Five Miles Out.' Looks like they're going to get the deluxe multi-disc/multi-channel treatment next, and I might need to reevaluate my out of date opinions on them. Like everyone else, I liked 'Tubular Bells' and 'Hergest Ridge' and 'Ommadawn'.
The Platinum Collection is a compilation album by the English drummer and singer Phil Collins, released on 31 May 2004 by Virgin Records. The set consists of all three of Collins' number one albums in the UK: Face Value (1981), No Jacket Required (1985) and ...But Seriously (1989).

Five Miles Out, the album, was more popular than Oldfield's previous few releases. It charted at No. 7 in the UK , whereas both QE2 (1980) and Platinum (1979) had failed to reach the top twenty. Oldfield's commercial revival would continue with subsequent albums Crises (1983) and Discovery (1984).
