Clarinettista, sassofonista e compositore. Dopo il diploma in clarinetto e gli studi di armonia contrappunto e fuga con il maestro Vittorio Fellegara, inizia la sua attività in complessi di musica accademica, da ballo e jazz.
Thanks to his different experiences and to his widely acknowledged talent, Trovesi first begins to teach and then in 1978 wins the first prize in the national competition for saxophone and clarinet, landing a permanent job in the Milan Radio Big band as first alto and first clarinet.
He performed with classical music groups, dance and jazz bands. After making important experiences with Franco Cerri and Giorgio Gaslini, he received the Milan RAI National Orchestra (Big band) prize for first clarinet and alto saxophone soloist.
