Biography. Thomas Lohmann, born in Zwickau in 1954 fled the GDR to West Germany in 1974. In Cologne, where he lives and works now, he studied free painting at the University of Applied Arts.

Formé en 1970 par Andreas Hohmann, Thomas Lohmann, Klaus Dinger, Ralf Hütter, Eberhard Kranemann, Houschäng Nejadépour, Peter Schmidt et Florian Schneider à Düsseldorf, Kraftwerk est un groupe allemand de Synthpop en activité depuis 54 ans. Ils sont notamment connus pour les hits Autobahn et Abzug, ou également pour Trans Europa Express.
