  1. Very very fun to play with DFCO. My C5 no longer pops during Decelleration. Not that I care about that, Lots of C5 customers complain though. Going into turns is fun as this provides quite a bit of engine braking. 09-30-2004 #6. Chris@HPTuners. HP Tuners Owner. Join Date.

  2. DFCO has been on my list of things to figure out. A long time ago some one told me that DFCO does not fully shut down the injectors. I am still wondering if this is true and how we can tell. I was going to put a switch on my injector harness so I can manually ensure complete power cut during dfco to determine if there is any difference.

  3. 18 nov. 2020 · I could set the minimum spark cells to -30....no change. I also noticed that it doesn't matter what I run in the main tables. I could have them set to 5 degrees or I can set them to 35 degrees, on decel my car just pulls timing until it's around 0 and then stops. Now, I know the Gen IV cars have DFCO entry and exit spark control, as well as ...

  4. There's only so many parameters on the DFCO tab, I'd assuming an answer like "you should be adjusting Enable MAP Hyst and Delay table" would be possible without a tune and a log, yes. But you're assuming the issue is with DFCO. This is why we ask for the tune and log because assumptions are often wrong. 08-08-2024 #5.

  5. Location. Australia. Posts. 2,023. camshaft prob just raises the airmass a little for decel so it may not be getting low enough now to trigger DFCO, just look at your logs and adjust the thresholds to suit. 03-14-2023 #3. Cringer. Advanced Tuner. Join Date.

  6. I wanted my DFCO to mainly be RPM dependent, so the MAP values are of little importance to me. Since your MAP reading while coming to a stop are different in each gear, so you can use the MAP entry values to fine tune what gears you want DFCO to happen in. For example using the MAP entry you can set it up so that you get DFCO in 3rd through 6th and not in 1st or 2nd gears. Play around with it ...

  7. I don't know why yours is so low. Attached is the stock table from my truck. You do have to be below this table to enter DFCO. have you checked that are actually entering DFCO? You would see your inj PW go to about 0.1 ms when you are. When I was tuning mine, the easiest way for me was to log TPS%, inj PW, main spark advance, speed, RPM, and ...

  8. You can set a filter such as commanded Lambda =1 , it will definitely filter out PE data, to filter DFCO is a bit trickier as DFCO when I tune is disabled, so to filter that data think about what your physically doing with 1) Accelerator Pedal or 2) TPS. Once you develop this filter you can start developing more intricate filters using TPS or ...

  10. dfco questions. hey i have a couple dfco questions i cant really seem to find an answer to when searching. 1) changing dfco settings dont seem to have an effect on entry speed for me upon coasting. even if i set the entry spark crank refs to 1 or 0, it still takes the normal ~1 second after letting off the gas to enter dfco and start engine ...
