2009 Chevrolet Aveo. ecotec2009 Member Posts: 17. February 2011. Does anyone know how to change/replace the spark plugs on a 2009 Chevy Aveo LS Sedan, manual front wheel drive? Problem I am having is trying to figure out how to remove or take the black plastic "Ecotec" cover off of the the top of the engine so I can get to the spark plugs below ...
This means, if your belt pops at 65,000 miles and totals your engine, GM has to repair or replace said engine at no cost to you under warranty repairs. If you do not have the belt checked at 30,000, OR do not have it replaced at 60,000, then if it goes at 65,000 miles and destroys your engine, the cost is all on you.
July 2010. I have a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo with 67,000 miles. While driving home from work today I smelled something burning and saw smoke coming from my hood. Chevrolet Aveo Transmission Problems. Hi. I have the automatic in my 2006 hatchback...it is suppose to have only 4 speeds/gears...mine shifts 5 times! I know when a car shifts and the tach. changes speed as well. I have a 5 speed gearbox!

deucebigalo4 Member Posts: I drive alot for my job, and have racked up 70k on my 2006 Chevy Aveo. My mechanical skills are about the same as a one armed blind monkey, meaning none. So, I listen to my Firestone guy, doing all the services that he recomends. I changed the timing belt at 66k.
Chevy Aveo Misfire or Normal. I noticed that my 2004 Aveo has some kind of misfire or uneven idling, especially when cold.
