Il y a 5 jours · マイケル・ブレッカーが15人編成のビッグ・バンドQuindectetを引連れて来日した。 まだ来日公演の真っ最中だが、大阪の2日目、3日目と見てきたので、早速その様子をレポートしてみようと思う。 まず大阪ブルーノートの店内に入って気がついたのは、16人分ものセッティングだ。 （アルバムではギル・ゴールドスタインは演奏には加わっていなかったが、今回は演奏もしているので1人増えている。 ）狭いステージに並べられた椅子の数だけで相当なもので、それだけで圧倒される。 Quindectetと言ってしまうとよくわからないが、フレンチ・ホーンやイングリッシュ・ホーンなどのクラシック系のホーン、ストリングス・カルテットなどが入り、まさにマイケル・ブレッカー・オーケストラと呼ぶのがふさわしいような編成だ。
