31 juil. 2007 · Formula 1 champions Renault have announced a $50 million long-term investment in technology after a poor season by their standards which has seen them slip a long way behind the two main 2007 title rivals. Renault have said the investment would help build a new computational fluid dynamics (CFD) facility at their factory in Enstone.

It was easier to make than I (and probably most others) suspected, and looked pretty cool. It didn't last terribly long, though; just gutting dust of it was a delicate operation. The French Motor Sports Federation, the FFSA, confirmed on Wednesday that they have made an application for France to host a round of the 2009 Formula One World Championship. The FFSA has a contract to run the French Grand Prix until 2011, but there was doubt about its future after Bernie Ecclestone made it clear several times that he did not want F1 back at the Magny-Cours circuit.

22 sept. 2010 · Jack Whileblood was an engineer who drove and managed the F1 shock absorber truck for Armstrong. He did have a bad accident but it was not as a F1 test driver--as I recall it was while returning to England after a race. I was with Firestone Racing from 1972-74 and got to know him quite well. Of course, so did everyone who ever met him!
