In October 2014, I ordered a brand new HG One with the 83mm TiN burrs, and it has been my main grinder at home for 6 years now. I probably drink about 500g-1kg per month. It's fair to say it must surely be seasoned by now. For some reason, I am a guy who likes a manual process.
17 déc. 2015 · So I've be trying to get to the bottom of a poor tasting shot and I think I've found it! I did a cooling flush earlier and noticed the water had a tinny metallic smell, i've then tasted it and it has a fairly strong metallic taste.
12 juin 2021 · But yes, as you describe, no preinfusion what so ever but getting a higher pressure with coffee which jumps up to about 11 bar and slowly drops to around 9 bar. Sometimes under. However with a blind basket, Hits and holds 9 bar. It's only started happening recently as was not an issue before.
12 mars 2018 · 200 posts · Joined 2014. #2 · Mar 12, 2018. Upon further inspection I believe the valve has failed causing the water to damage the liner inside the casing. This caused it to sag down and come into contact with the top of the boiler - queue burning smell. A valve is only about £15 and it'll need decaling too.
29 mai 2024 · Here is the clearest frame of it from the film: I've narrowed it down to the brand Rego, model number C688-07. From what I can tell after looking through many listings of the mugs on eBay, each batch has a different letter A-Z stamped below the model number.

10 juil. 2016 · Hi Phil, That's just how it is: Milk will cake almost instantly on the steam wand. Make sure that, immediately after steaming, you wipe the steam wand clean with a wet cloth and that you purge a small amount of steam afterwards so no milk would even think about travelling upwards to find its way into the boiler, which will give you a very sour experience - literally

Not sure if this has been posted here before and I expect lots of you have seen it but here it is in all it's 70's glory - the La Pavoni Europiccola as demonstrated by James Bond himself in the film Live and Let Die.
