23 août 2022 · hey guys, I'm trying to attach my trans (nv3550) to my 4.0 (1998 Cherokee engine)..... what size bolts do I need to purchase. I bought these parts from different folks and there was no bolts included. something I wish I had gotten together when I pulled the engine.
13 févr. 2021 · Front centerpin to center pin is 31” IIRC. It’s why the 78-79 Ford kingpin Dana 60 is so highly desirable for YJ guys with it’s 31.5” centerpin to centerpin measurement and centersection cast SOA leaf spring mount. Also one reason why guys have to outboard their front springs to run the early Chevy Dana Kingpin 60’s.
22 oct. 2021 · I had to change out a crankshaft position sensor, because once my Jeep warmed up it would die. After it cooled for 5 minutes, I was able to start it back up no problem. But then it would die. I received a camshaft/crankshaft sensor code. I changed out the crankshaft pos sensor and no more problem. It can be a mix of things.

21 juin 2022 · I have a 1988 YJ 4.2 with 5 speed. Will a 1993 4.0 out of a Jeep Cherokee bolt up to this transmission. I believe trans is a AX15, has aluminum spacer but drain plug is on passaged side like AX5.
12 avr. 2020 · a) Sourcing a solid passenger side axle shaft. These can be found in 92-99 XJs (Cherokee) and 97+ TJs. The 96-99 XJs, and any TJ axle shaft will have the larger 297x u-joints. (Make sure you don't get one with CV joints!) If you do find 96+ shafts, you might as well grab the drivers side and upgrade too! b) Purchasing a drivers side axle shaft seal
12 avr. 2021 · Has anyone done an I6, AW4, and transfer case swap from a 91 to 95 Cherokee into a I4 AX5 YJ? Know the transfer case would need reclocking. Thinking leave the transfer case in original location, and moving motor forward. Im thinking it is only about 1/2". Also thinking of using the complete under hood wiring harness from Cherokee and re-pining ...

Luckily a guy in the UK has sent me the complete howto guide on installing the compatible cherokee headlights with internal side light and how to delete the EU front fender assembly and get the two front grille orange signal lights working. I'll post some process pix when I get the parts and start the conversion. Cheers.
