25 juin 2024 · I’m currently in Belfast leading a course on theology, the arts, and spiritual formation, and today we spent some time exploring the public murals, particularly those in west Belfast where a wall still separates Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods. In some places, roads connect these neighborhoods but are closed off with gates before dusk to keep conflicts from escalating.
