  4. 1 févr. 2022 · Mackay (which shymes with ‘sky’, according to his website) is deftly on top of all of the main arguments here, such as the alarming idea that if we are all uploaded to the Cloud, who cares about climate change anyway? There is this warped notion that Humanity 2.0 will be divorced from the natural realm, and all the more human because of it.

The narrator of The Child loses his job in New York, spurring a cross-continental move back to Cape Town with his husband, Adrian, in 2018.
