9 nov. 2021 · Mattie Blaylock did end up working as a prostitute to support herself, and eventually in 1888 died following what appears to be a deliberate overdose of laudanum. She stated that Wyatt Earp had wrecked her life – but she’d also been in chronic pain due to serious dental problems for many years, which was surely a significant factor in her laudanum addiction.
