Biographie. Jeunesse. Né à Ripley, à proximité de Guildford, dans le Surrey au Royaume-Uni, Eric Patrick Clapton est le fils d'un soldat canadien et d'une mère anglaise. Son père, après être parti combattre en Europe peu après sa naissance, est ensuite retourné au Canada.
