Actors should show up to Young Actors Space with the lines memorized and two copies of the scene. This process helps the actor makes strong specific choices while still remaining flexible for adjustments in the audition room and greatly increases the odds of getting a callback.

The Young Actor Workspace is located in the heart of Los Angeles and is owned and operated by Lisa Picotte and David Kaufman. Between the two, they have starred or recurred in 8 network TV series and 9 animated series; starred and co-starred in over 20 features and MOW’s; guest-starred in over 50 prime-time series; and done over 100 commercials.

For the fifteen years after that, he was a teacher at The Young Actors Space. For seven seasons, Spatz served as the on-set acting coach for "Roseanne". He went on to work with Jonathan Lipnicki on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show", with Tia & Tamara Mowry on "Sister, Sister" and later, with Tia and Tamara's younger brother, Tahj, when he got the starring role on the WB series "The Smart Guy".
We do not have an ongoing season, we are very selective about what is chosen, and only commit to a play if it’s going to be a unique and challenging experience.. The YAS Theatre Company is ever evolving and its members are pulled from the talented adult actors and alumni of Young Actors Space.
