Released several months after Hot Rocks, this is that conservative collection's eccentric complement — and more. Even the most familiar songs ("The Last Time," "Lady Jane," "She's a Rainbow") have odd twists, and a few head to wonderful whimsy ("Dandelion") or into the ozone ("2000 Light Years From Home").
Add the fact that this hot rocks included more obscure songs, the versions I’ve found are generally cleaner than similarly aged copies of more popular sibling compilation, Hot Rocks. My L.H. More Hot Rocks is probably the best sounding Stones record I’ve heard, as good as my Decca Between the Buttons.
