14 sept. 2021 · We CAN say "I used to live in London" and "I lived in London" but we cannot say "I would live in London". It was a past state or habit, not an action. So from the point of view of 'used to' and 'would', 'to live' is a state verb. However, we can use 'to live' with a continuous tense, e.g. "I was living in London when the Twin Towers were attacked."
