CellarTracker was originally created in March, 2003 by Eric LeVine as a way to keep track of his own cellar. At the time he was working at Microsoft, and CellarTracker was a simple hobby. After extending the site to allow two friends to use it, Eric was intrigued by the potential to create a broader phenomenon.
27 mai 2023 · Started out as 94+ and ended up at a solid 96. Amazingly, these wines are still reasonably priced on the secondary market. 2010 Madrona - Nose was very nice with perfumed purple flowers, cassis, cedar and forest floor. The palate on day 1 showed. plenty of dark fruit (black currant and blackberry) with notes of graphite, tobacco and earth.
12 oct. 2024 · Chateau Montrose gala dinner (Taipei Smith & Wollensky): Comparing to the bottle I tasted last yea, I would say this wine evolves in the right direction. The tannin softened, the acidity mellowed, and the tertiary aroma emerged in the past 1 year. Nose shows cassis, cigar, smoke, and earthy notes. Medium to full-bodied, with velvety tannin.
7 août 2024 · 7/27/2024 - cjoetucker@aol.com Likes this wine: 95 Points. Dense, brooding, powerful. This has inky purple color. Big, dark, and robust, this has notes of black cherry, cocoa powder, blackberry, licorice and black currant on the palate. Aromas of dark fruit, chocolate, cassis.
