Benjamin "BeBe" Winans (born September 17, 1962) [1] is an American gospel and R&B singer from Detroit, Michigan. He is a member of the noted Winans family , most members of which are also gospel artists.

BeBe & CeCe Winans are an American gospel/R&B music brother and sister duo. BeBe and CeCe Winans are the seventh and eighth of the Winans family's ten children, most of whom have had gospel music careers. Together, they have received several awards, including three Grammys.
Youngest brother and seventh sibling Benjamin (BeBe Winans) recorded with younger sister and eighth sibling Priscilla (CeCe Winans) as BeBe & CeCe Winans. Premiering as background vocalists for Andrae Crouch in the 70s, BeBe & CeCe became singers for the PTL Club at Heritage USA in Charlotte, NC.
BeBe’s career as a solo artist has yielded eight albums with guest appearances from friends as diverse as Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, David Foster and Anita Baker and is known for his jaw dropping performances on some of the most important and star-studded musical specials of the past decades.
BeBe is best known as an inspirational, R&B, and popular vocalist, songwriter who along with his musical partner and sister CeCe Winans are the first true Christian crossover artists to hit the mainstream.
Although originally part of the larger Winans family singing group, CeCe and her older brother BeBe became a duo during their time at PTL, in response to positive reactions to their version of the song "Up Where We Belong" sung as a duet, with lyrics changed for Christian audiences.
