31 mars 2021 · Specifically, the Bing Maps SDK gives us exactly what we want: a drop-in Unity component that, given a location (via latitude/longitude coordinate pair) will render a 3D scene containing that real-world location, powered by the same 3D maps data that Flight Simulator uses. That’s so cool!

To view the 3D maps, users must install a plugin, then enable the "3D" option on "Bing Maps". In addition to exploring the maps using a mouse and keyboard, it is possible to navigate the 3D environment using an Xbox 360 controller or another game controller in Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
