23 févr. 2024 · I don’t think I should be too worried. That said, this is the first VW I’ve owned that used oil between changes. I have owned 4 cylinder non-turbo, 5 cylinder non-turbo, and this particular car is my 3rd 4cylinder turbo.

18 mars 2024 · Car is 2012 VW Golf MK6, 1.6 TDi BlueMotion with 120k miles on the clock. Problem - car intermittently bellows out smoke from the exhaust every few days then stops and runs normally. There is no loss of power when this is happening but on idle, the rev counter moves up/down very slightly/flickers.

11 sept. 2024 · They said they could do it and they did. Just plug and play. Needed to get VW keys to remove the unit (on eBay £15). Used unit was £450 without Nav so not cheap but VW said it can't be done and wanted almost £3000. It was the unit in the glove compartment, which took 10 minutes to remove and re-fit.
