31 mai 2011 · 80317 posts · Joined 2006. #1 · May 31, 2011 (Edited) The Berlin City Palace or Berlin Palace (Berliner Stadtschloss aka Berliner Schloss in German) is (partly) getting reconstructed. It's scheduled to be finished and opened as the world cultural museum "Humboldt Forum" in late 2019. Interiors can and will be reconstructed later on, year by year.
31 mars 2013 · Complimenting the existing Estrel Hotel, the largest in Germany, a new hotel tower and conference center will establish a new gateway to the center of Berlin from the soon to be completed Schönefeld International Airport. The tower at 175 meters (578 feet) will be the tallest high-rise in Berlin to date.

14 févr. 2016 · Berlin | Mynd Tower | 134m | In Bau. Interessant, wie der Kaufhof hier um die Grundfläche des Hochhauses bis an die Karl-Liebknecht-Straße erweitert wurde. Das macht mindestens nochmal ein Viertel mehr Verkaufsfläche – bei heute 36.000 qm dann 45.000 qm, man rückt in KaDeWe-Nähe. Wichtiger aber: das Hochhaus!

31 mai 2014 · 2. Compact arena including track. 3. Elegant roof with minimal visual obstruction. is remarkable. Just for the sake of this stadium, I would prefer Berlin hosting the 2024 SOG. Germany 2006 had some awesome stadiums but Berlin OS stands out in the pack and way too better than Alliance Arena also - This is my opinion.
2 août 2018 · Here a picture from the construction in 1877: same location today. In 1910, the colonnades seen here were closed by walls to be used by stonemasons for maintenance of statues. This shortage of space has now been fixed and the colonnades open for traffic: This part was used as interior space.

With the new rent freeze this will certainly get worse and it already shows a downwards trend and had its first victims. Due to expected missing rental incomes in the next years a couple of big cooperatives droped out of a project at the "Buckower Felder" with 900 ...
2 août 2018 · Many people and government officials involved in downtown reconstruction had been invited. The event seems to be a huge success. The event is called "Stadtmitte - Fest" and organized by "Stiftung Stadtmitte" organization: https://stiftung-mitte-berlin.de/. Surprisingly, many top noch officials actually came!
