Steven was interviewing Gayle King and Charles Barkley- and Gayle was telling Stephen that their show “King Charles” was the brainchild of (Former Colbert show exec producer and then fired CNN CEO) Chris Licht, and then she says something like, “You know him, he used to be here....” and he mutters quickly, “I’m not familiar”. OUCH!
YES!! I was literally just having this same thought and I decided to see if anyone else felt the same. I'm tired of his long and rambling meawhile intros and he seems to be getting more and more arrogant. Also, I feel his jokes about the Ukraine situation have been borderline at best, inconsiderate and cruel at worst. He seriously needs a reboot.

The Late Show typically gets 12 weeks of vacation. 40 weeks on, 12 weeks off. Tonight Show is similar. The other late night shows get more than that. I think the Late shows a 4 day shooting schedule Mon-Thurs (for 5 shows Mon-Friday) and he puts in rather long days.

Ten years ago the Colbert Report was brilliant and hilarious. When he started doing late night, he took a huge pay increase in exchange for becoming a vapid PC loudspeaker.
