The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) (Regulation 2023/2554) establishes a comprehensive framework on digital operational resilience for EU financial entities.
DORA creates a regulatory framework on digital operational resilience whereby all firms need to make sure they can withstand, respond to and recover from all types of ICT-related disruptions and threats. These requirements are homogenous across all EU member states. The core aim is to prevent and mitigate cyber threats.

25 mars 2024 · In view of the increasing risks with respect to information and communication technology (ICT) and the growth in digitalisation and interconnectedness, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) was established to further strengthen the digital operational resilience in the EU financial sector by introducing a common legal framework.
29 juil. 2024 · On 27 December 2022, the Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA) was published in the Official Journal of the EU. This includes a Regulation and a Directive on digital operational resilience for the financial sector. This will apply in full from January 2025.
