Stewart Armstrong Copeland, né le 16 juillet 1952 à Alexandria ( Virginie ), est un musicien et compositeur américain. Il est connu pour avoir été le batteur et fondateur du groupe The Police. Après leur séparation, il a composé des musiques de films (entre autres celles de Rusty James, Wall Street et Highlander, le retour ).

Stewart Armstrong Copeland (born July 16, 1952) is an American musician and composer. He is best known for his work as the drummer of the English rock band the Police from 1977 to 1986, and again from 2007 to 2008. Before playing with the Police, he played drums with English rock band Curved Air from 1975 to 1976.
Within a few months of their first gig, the line-up settled as Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar, primary songwriter), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion), and remained unchanged for the rest of the band's history. The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and early to mid 1980s.

Klark Kent is the debut solo album of Stewart Copeland, and the first solo album recorded by any band member of The Police. The album was released in 1980 as a 10 inch EP on green vinyl. It was later re-released on black vinyl as a 12 inch with a grey and black sleeve.
