Caitlin Sweet is a Canadian fantasy author and writer at the Ontario Government who teaches a genre writing workshop at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. She lives in Toronto with her family, which includes two children and her husband, hard science fiction author Peter Watts .
Caitlin Sweet | Author. About. I’ve been writing fantasy stories since I was seven. My first two novels were published by Penguin Canada in 2003 and 2005; my third, fourth and fifth, by the now-defunct ChiZine Publications between 2011 and 2015. I live in Toronto. I love cats and watch too much TV. My two kids aren’t actually kids, anymore.

Sweet's world shudders with the power of the gods. It seems near everyone but Ariadne has some eldritch and scintillating ability, mostly misdirected and excessive.

We were out for dinner the other night with friends, talking about the dumpster-fire demise of my former publisher, and other examples of egregious business dealings in the small-press world.
