Amon G. Carter Stadium is an open-air football stadium on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. It is the home stadium of the TCU Horned Frogs football team. It is named after Amon G. Carter, a prominent Fort Worth businessman, newspaper publisher, and city booster.

When the TCU Horned Frogs football team started to attract crowds larger than they could imagine, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, knew it was time to build a new stadium. Thus, Amon G. Carter Stadium, an open-air football stadium located on the campus of TCU was constructed.
6 déc. 2023 · Amon G. Carter Stadium has been home to the Texas Christian University football team since 1930. The original seating capacity was for 22,000, but over the years the stadium has expanded to today’s current capacity of 47,000.
Completed in 2020, this major renovation and expansion project brought an additional 75,000 square feet to Texas Christian University’s Amon G. Carter football stadium. This new space now includes over 1,000 club seats, 22 luxury suites, 48 loge boxes and two private clubs, as well as outdoor covered balconies.
Perhaps having one of the most unique team nicknames in college football, the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs have played at Amon Carter Stadium since 1930. The history of the stadium dates to the mid 1920s when the university began discussing building a new facility.
