Mark James DeSaulnier (/ d ə ˈ s oʊ n i eɪ / də-SOH-nee-ay; born March 31, 1952) is an American politician who has served as a U.S. representative from California since 2015. He has represented the 10th congressional district since 2023, although it was previously numbered the 11th district for his first eight years in office.
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (DE-SOWN-YAY) proudly represents California’s 10th Congressional District, which includes much of Contra Costa County and a part of Alameda County. For more than 30 years in public service and as a small business owner, Mark has been a leader for working families.
