Helen Jonas-Rosenzweig, née Hélène Sternlicht (Cracovie, 25 avril 1925 - Boca Raton, Floride, 20 décembre 2018), est une survivante de la Shoah en Pologne internée pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale dans le camp de concentration de Płaszów où elle est forcée de travailler comme femme de chambre pour le commandant du camp Amon Göth.

Helen Jonas-Rosenzweig (born Helena Sternlicht; April 25, 1925 – December 20, 2018) was a Polish Holocaust survivor who was interned during World War II at the Płaszów concentration camp where she was forced to work as a maid for SS camp commandant Amon Göth.

14 déc. 2020 · Two days after liberation, Helen met Joe Jonas, a fellow survivor, who she went on to marry. Jonas’s American uncle helped secure affidavits for Helen and her sisters. Helen and Joe arrived in 1947, settled on Long Island, and raised three children.
Helen Jonas was a young girl in Kraków, Poland, when the Germans invaded and started persecuting Jews. She survived the Plaszów concentration camp by becoming the servant of Amon Göth, the notorious commandant, and later worked for Oskar Schindler, the famous savior of Jews.
