John Barker Church, a.k.a. John Carter, (October 30, 1748 – April 27, 1818), was an English born businessman and supplier of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He returned to England after the Revolutionary War and served in the House of Commons from 1790 until 1796.

John Barker Church was Commissary General of the French Army in America, and financially aided the new American government. Returning to England after the American Revolution war, he was elected a Member of Parliament. According to tradition, he owned the Wogdon pistols used in the 1804 Burr-Hamilton duel.
