Rubén Fulgencio Batista y Zaldívar (né le 16 janvier 1901 à Banes et mort le 6 août 1973 à Marbella en Espagne), est un militaire et homme d’État cubain, nommé colonel en 1933. Élu à la présidence de la république de Cuba en 1940, il respecte les règles démocratiques lors de ce premier mandat.
