Wallace Fard Muhammad, connu aussi sous les noms de Fard Muhammad, Wallace Dodd Ford, Wallace Dodd Fard, Wallace Dodd, Wallace D. Fard, W. F. Muhammad ou W. D. Fard, est le fondateur de la Nation of Islam, une organisation politique et religieuse afro-américaine.
Wallace Fard Muhammad was the founder of the Nation of Islam, a black separatist movement in the United States. He taught idiosyncratic Islamic beliefs, gave his followers new Muslim names, and disappeared in 1934.
Wallace D. Fard was a Mecca-born religious leader who founded the Nation of Islam in the United States in 1930. He claimed to be the reincarnation of Noble Drew Ali, the leader of a Black Muslim movement, and taught that blacks must prepare for a race war and reject Christianity.

Wallace Fard Muhammad, serait arrivé aux États-Unis (à New York) en 1910 et aurait étudié en Californie avant de repartir pour La Mecque. C’est un personnage assez mystérieux. Fard, W. D. (c. 1877-1934) was the mysterious leader who founded the Nation of Islam, or the "Black Muslim" movement, in Detroit in 1930. He claimed to be the "Great Mahdi" or "Savior" and taught his followers about their "true religion" and their "lost-found" identity.
