Ralph Moore (born 24 December 1956) [1] is an English jazz saxophonist. Early life. Moore was born in Brixton, London, England. [1] [2] His mother was the dancer Josie Woods, and his father was in the US military. [2] [3] He spent his childhood in Brixton, and after trying various instruments, took up the tenor saxophone at the age of 14.

Pour sa venue en Avignon, il sera accompagné par son ami et complice de saxophone Michael Cheret, Fred Nardin au piano, Viktor Nyberg à la contrebasse, et Andréa Michelutti à la batterie.
5 mars 2024 · Ralph Moore est un saxophoniste qui fait partie de la grande Histoire du jazz hard-bop. Il a joué 5 ans avec Horace Silver, puis Freddie Hubbard, Roy Haynes, etc… Il a enregistré sur les albums de Kenny Barron, Ray Brown, Oscar Peterson et bien d’autres.
Soirée mainstream au Sunside avec la venue depuis bien longtemps sur le sol français de Ralph Moore, un ancien de chez Art Blakey ou Horace Silver, et qui a enregistré avec McCoy Tyner, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown…. Cela faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas pris une cure de hardbop.
