Good Morning, Vietnam is a 1987 American war comedy film written by Mitch Markowitz and directed by Barry Levinson. Set in Saigon in 1965, during the Vietnam War, the film stars Robin Williams as an Armed Forces Radio Service DJ who proves hugely popular with the troops, but infuriates his superiors with what they call his "irreverent tendency".

In 1965, an unorthodox and irreverent DJ named Adrian Cronauer begins to shake up things when he is assigned to the U.S. Armed Services radio station in Vietnam.
En pleine guerre du Vietnam, Adrian Cronauer, disc-jockey anticonformiste, est affecté à Saïgon à la station de radio des forces armées. Ce roi de l'improvisation brave bientôt la censure pour remonter le moral des troupes sur le terrain avec ses commentaires irrévérencieux et sa programmation musicale très rock.
