L. Q. Jones. Justus Ellis McQueen Jr. (August 19, 1927 – July 9, 2022), known professionally as L.Q. Jones, was an American actor. [1] [2] He appeared in Sam Peckinpah 's films Ride the High Country (1962), Major Dundee (1965), The Wild Bunch (1969), The Ballad of Cable Hogue (1970), and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973).
L.Q. Jones (1927-2022) was a versatile and prolific actor who appeared in many films and TV shows, especially westerns. He also directed the cult sci-fi film A Boy and His Dog (1975) and worked with Sam Peckinpah several times.
