Meyer Lansky (formerly Meier Suchowlański) is an ambitious Russia-born Polish-Jewish-American gangster based out of New York City and a partner of Lucky Luciano and Benjamin Siegel. He is played by Anatol Yusef and based on the historical figure of the same name.
Background
Lansky is an associate and protege of Arnold Rothstein. He is intelligent and driven, focusing on business over his personal life. He has learned from Rothstein that a bribe can be more powerful than a bullet. He is a master manipulator in business. He has a close friendship with Rothstein's other protege Lucky Luciano.

By 1931, Lansky has become a high ranking operative for the Masseria family, which was taken over by Lucky after betraying Masseria for Salvatore Maranzano. Ever since 1929, Lansky and Luciano have been building a "National Crime Syndicate”, with Lansky as the chief of the committee. Lansky had formed a group of Jewish-Italian hitmen, that served as muscle for this new crime syndicate. They called their gang "Murder Inc.”.
