God Save the Queen/Under Heavy Manners se pose même en album relativement idéal pour se lancer dans la découverte de l'univers musical de Robert FRIPP, dans ce monde où une seule guitare électrique peut faire des merveilles. D'autres comme (No Pussyfooting), coréalisé avec Brian ENO, risquent effectivement d'être un peu trop abrupts.
