Let It Flow is a solo album by rock musician Elvin Bishop. His fourth studio album, it was released in 1974. The album was recorded at Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia, several years after he left The Butterfield Blues Band. Guest musicians include Charlie Daniels, Dickey Betts, Toy Caldwell, Vassar Clements, and Sly Stone.
Forrest Richard Betts (December 12, 1943 – April 18, 2024) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band. He initially shared the band's signature dual lead guitar roles with band founder Duane Allman, and assumed the solo lead after Allman's death in October of 1971.

Au début du Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts jouait sur une Gibson SG 1961 qu'il a offert à Duane Allman en 1971. Il a alors employé une Gibson Les Paulgreen top de 1957. Il est aussi célèbre pour l'utilisation d'une Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, l'appelant « Goldie ».

Troisième LP solo de l’Evêque, Let It Flow est une réussite qui contribue indéniablement aux beaux jours de la marque d’une part, mais se place surtout comme le porte-étendard de la carrière du californien avec Juke Joint Jump (75) et Struttin’ My Stuff (75).
