Born in 1982, Candace Culcleasure (kull-KLEH-shur) has been singing and writing songs since the age of 5. Raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she currently resides in Delaware. Candace is a soulful, jazz singer in the style of Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, and Lizz Wright.
The Platters are an American vocal group formed in 1952. They are one of the most successful vocal groups of the early rock and roll era. Their distinctive sound bridges the pre-rock Tin Pan Alley tradition and the new burgeoning genre.

Candace Culcleasure, our newest member, joins The Platters family after performing solo at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and appearing in the Bulgarian oratorio ‘A Melancholy Beauty’. She has released an original single titled, “Still Cute,” which is now available on all music platforms.
