25 oct. 2019 · 1. She is his would-be wife. means that she wants to be his wife. It's from older English where "She would be his wife" means that she wants to be his wife. It does not mean that the wedding is planned. (It could also mean that he wants her to be his wife, but that would be less usual). The usage is a bit old.

I've tried using a few different terms in the past, but each felt a bit too broad or generalized. Tank Top: Can refer to formal outfits, causal clothing, or bathing suits.

1. I don't think it is an "official" rule of the English language, but "They came with Sally and me" is much more common than "They came with me and Sally." It's the same thing when you are describing yourself and others in the subject version such as: "The family and I went to the baseball game." rather than.
"My wife and I are eating an apple" is correct because "my wife and I" is the subject of the sentence. You could replace "my wife and I" with "we". "You can see my wife and me in this picture" is correct because "my wife and me" is the object of the sentence. You could replace "my wife and me" with "us".

Is “my wife and I's” correct, or should it be “my wife's and my”? How to use the possessive form when referring to someone else and yourself?
